Maribel es socia-fundadora de la empresa “Entrenadores de Talento” que nació en el año 2013, donde libera y a entrena el talento en el mundo organizacional. Anteriormente fue socia-gerente en la empresa “makeateam” fundada por Jorge Valdano, Andoni Zubizarreta y Juan Antonio Corbalán, prestigiosos deportistas del fútbol y del baloncesto. Con ellos colaboró en ese apasionante proyecto desde su inicio en el año 2000 hasta su desaparición. Por tanto, cuenta con más de 20 años de experiencia en el ámbito del desarrollo del talento como consultora, formadora, conferenciante motivacional y coach colaborando con multitud de empresas y organizaciones de todo tipo, tanto en España como en el extranjero.
Se certificó como coach por el Institut Gestalt de Barcelona y People Tech Solutions de Washington, USA en el año 2007. También me certifiqué como coach de equipos y sistemas por ORSC (Organization & Relationship Systems Coaching) en el 2012. Coach ACC certificada por la ICF (International Coaching Federation) durante 10 años. Acreditada en Insights Discovery, herramienta de diagnóstico de personalidad. Acreditada en la poderosa herramienta de diagnóstico del Liderazgo The Leadership Circle.
Como deportista, ha estado ligada al alto rendimiento deportivo con el hockey hierba 25 años de su vida. 13 de ellos como deportista y 12 como entrenadora. Tiene el orgullo de poder decir que es campeona olímpica y medalla de oro en Barcelona ’92 con el equipo nacional femenino de hockey hierba, que además fue el primer equipo campeón olímpico en la historia del olimpismo español. Cuenta además con 2 medallas de plata y 3 de bronce en copas de Europa. Ha sido 119 veces internacional y es premio nacional del deporte “Copa Barón de Güell” en 1992 y medalla de oro al mérito deportivo por la RFEH (Real Federación Española de Hockey) junto con el resto de mis compañeras campeonas olímpicas. Fue además la primera deportista española fichada por un equipo extranjero, concretamente holandés, como profesional en el hockey hierba.
Es también entrenadora nacional en hockey hierba. Fue miembro del equipo de técnicos del equipo nacional femenino que consiguió un meritorio 4º puesto en los Juegos Olímpicos de Sydney 2000. Fue también campeona de Europa de clubs en el año 2004 con el equipo masculino del RC de Polo de Barcelona como entrenadora ayudante especializada en porteros.
Y también es pedagoga por la UCM y master en psicología del deporte por la UNED. Actualmente es profesora en diferentes postgrados y masters en Universidades de Madrid y de Barcelona relacionados con la inteligencia emocional, el liderazgo, el desarrollo del talento y la transformación personal y organizacional.
Es autora del libro “Historia de un compromiso” Plataforma Editorial, 2017 y co-autora del libro “Relatos del Deporte” Editorial Conocimiento, 2001.
