In collaboration with one of our partners from the Kennedy Executive Search network, in Saltor Talent we have successfully led the search for a Head of People Development & Learning for a large multinational leader in the technology sector.
The challenge
Our client, the technological arm of one of the world’s leading insurers, was immersed in a profound process of transformation of its global Learning & Development model. This context required the incorporation of a leader capable of driving the evolution towards a skills-based learning strategy, with a clear focus on the continuous training of highly technological profiles.
The objective was to identify a professional with the ability to design and implement innovative learning strategies, supported by advanced digital tools and aimed at fostering an organizational culture focused on the development of competencies. The position required a solid experience in transformation projects, a strong analytical capacity and a modern and strategic vision of corporate formation.
Our strategy
To face this challenge, we carried out an exhaustive analysis of the market, focusing on technology companies, consulting firms and other sectors that are especially advanced in Learning, such as banking or industry. This work allowed us to identify more than 100 globally relevant profiles, located in different parts of Europe.
We apply advanced assessment methodologies to ensure an optimal fit in both technical skills and cultural values. The process included competency-based interviews, leadership evaluations, and simulations of scenarios aimed at solving complex challenges.
Throughout the project, we maintained constant and close communication with the client’s management team, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs, expectations and strategic context.
The result
Among the finalist candidates presented, one stood out from the beginning, generating a clear match in both directions. Finally, the process closed with this professional, who brought extensive experience leading Learning initiatives in multinationals in the technology sector and having driven transformations of great impact on a global scale.
The successful candidate demonstrated outstanding strategic vision, combined with a pragmatic approach to implementing relevant changes in complex organizations.
