Educated at the Swiss School (he speaks 4 languages), he has a law degree and an MBA from IESE Business School. He combines his life in the academic environment (two fifteen years as part of the IESE faculty) and as a lecturer along with managerial and consulting roles in various industries.
Previously, he was part of the IESE faculty, in Open Executive, MBA and Executive MBA programs in the marketing department. At IESE he was also academic director of international in-company programs and founder and co-director of the IESE Industry Meeting on e-commerce. He has also taught students from prominent institutions around the world, including NYU Stern, ESE Chile, IDE Ecuador, and Universidad del Pacífico, as well as INSEAD-CEDEP, among others, in Spain, Europe, and Latin America.
Since the 1990s, he has combined his managerial activity with academic and consulting work in multiple companies. With them he has contributed to the growth of multinationals in various sectors (marketing services, food, airlines, utilities and leisure) and countries from different positions both locally, nationally, regionally and globally. He has helped develop the commercialization of more than 200 brands in more than 25 countries, occupying commercial or general management roles, already integrated as a member of the management committee.
Currently, an important part of his work, where he researches and publishes, is related to the digital environment, how it enriches the process and business models of companies and how it impacts the company’s income statement. He is also specialized in the areas of business communication, business process innovation, strong brand development and sales in consumer environments and service companies.
He is also a member of the advisory board of Línea Directa, an external think tank made up of professionals of recognized prestige together with company directors, as an initiative to transform the insurance company. He is also a patron of the Exit foundation that helps young people at risk of social vulnerability.
Pablo is the author of five books, three as an author: Fact Energy. The coming sustainability (Deusto, 2021), Winners, the method to win customers in the Amazon era (Penguin Random House Editorial Group, 2019) and Without fear of change (EUNSA, 2016); and two as co-author: The supermarket (Editorial Thomson Reuters Aranzdi, 2019) and Fashion in the digital environment (EUNSA, 2015), regularly publishing articles in the general, specialized and management press. He has also written several academic cases.
A regular speaker on boards of directors and management committees, he has participated in multiple forums, including TED Talk, to address issues around e-commerce, omnichannel, social networks, digital marketing, trends, sales, route to market, commercial communication and online marketing. general.
During his career he has won several EFI awards and has been a member of the jury for the Eficacia Awards in 2006, the most recognized award in the marketing sector in Spain.
